Italian Salad Dressing Mix

By

I bet you can't find a store-bought (or even a restaurant) version of Italian Dressing that's better than this. Plus, while the proportions of the ingredients is important, you can still use a bit more or less of an ingredient to suit your personal taste. You can add some red pepper flakes or brown mustard for a bolder version, add lemon zest or lemon pepper for a brighter taste, and even mix it up with a 50-50 blend of mayo and sour cream for a veggie dip. The dressing makes a nice marinade for steaks or mushrooms, and also makes a lovely "token" gift.
