Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 6 slices pineapple
- 10 maraschino cherries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1
1. Melt 2 TBS butter in an 8x8x2 pan, stir in brown sugar. Arrange pineapple slices and cherries over sugar.
2. Cream together 1/4 cup butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and milk. Sift in flour, baking pwoder and salt; mix well. Stir in vanilla. Spoon batter over pineapple slices. Bake in 350F oven 40-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before inverting on serving plate.
