Italian Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp diastatic malt powder
  • Egg wash

Preparation

Step 1

Put water and yeast in Bosch bowl. Then add rest of the ingredients and mix, then knead for 10 min. Let rise for 1 hour, punch down and shape then let rise till doubled in size. Bake at 375 F for 25 minutes.
