Ingredients

  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • 1 3/4 cups coconut flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups almonds, blanched
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Craisins
  • 4 ounces dried blueberries
  • 1 1/4 cups honey
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. In large roasting pan, precook oats, nuts and coconut on 225 for 15 minutes.

2. Meanwhile melt honey and add oil and vanilla to it.

3. Add salt to dry ingredients; pour honey mixture over dry mixture.

4. Stir well to coat evenly.

5. Spread out in pan and bake at 225 for 1hr. and 15 minutes; stirring every 15 minutes.

6. Cool then add dried fruit.

7. Store as you would any dry cereal.
