Ingredients
- Batter Mix:
- 10 ounces Flank steak
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 10 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1/2 ounce fresh garlic
- 8 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons mushroom soy sauce
- 2 ounces ginger root, chopped
- Sauce:
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons red pepper
- 1 Tablespoon vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper

Step 1
1. Batter Mix: Mix the ingredients. Cut the steak in thin slices and mix in the batter.
2. Fry beef until until crisp, 7-10 minutes. Remove from pan and set this aside for now.
3. Sauce: Mash garlic and ginger root. Combine with rest of ingredients. Heat and thicken with 1/4 cup water and 11/2 Tbsp. flour. Once you have this heated up, add the beef to the sauce and heat.
