Ingredients
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups milk, scalded
- 1 9 inch pie crust

Step 1
Blend eggs with sugar, salt, and vanilla. Gradually stir in milk; por into pastry shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
To scald milk in the microwave: place milk in microwave safe bowl, place a bamboo skewer or other microwave safe tool in the milk to keep it from becoming super heated. Microwave for 3-4 minutes and you are done.
