  • 2 cups butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt



Step 1

Preheat oven to 300F. Cream butter until fluffy, add both sugars until well combined. Gradually add flour and salt and mix on low speed, just until blended. Using floured fingertips, press the dough evenly into a jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with 2 TBS turbinado sugar. Bake 1 hr. Remove from oven and immediately cut. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before removing from pan.
