Beef shepherd's pie

Ingredients

• 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
• 1 small onion finely chopped
• 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
• 6 oz beef gravy
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 16 oz bag of frozen mixed veg-thawed
• 1 box instand mashed potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375
In med skillet cook beef and onions on med heat for 8 min, until brown
Drain excess fat, add tomatoes, thawed veg, gravy, and garlic powder. cook for an additional 10 min
While meat mixture is cooking prepare instant mashed potatoes
porur meat mixture in an 8x8 baking dish, then spread mashed evenly over top.
Add salt and peper to taste
Bake in oven for 25 min
