This is a recipe handed down to me by my mother from her mother. I substitute almonds, cashews etc for the walnuts.

Ingredients
- 2/3 CUP EVAPORATED MILK
- 1 AND 1/2 HALF CUP SUGAR
- 3/4 OF LARGE JAR OF MARSHMELLOW CREME
- 1/4 CUP BUTTER
- 1/4 TSP SALT
- ONE 12 OUNCE SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 1 TSP VANILLA
- 1 CUP WALNUTS (OPTIONAL)

Preparation
Step 1
MIX FIRST FIVE INGREDIENTS IN PAN TOGETHER. BRING TO A BOIL. BOIL FIVE MINUTES AT MED-HIGH HEAT STIRRING CONSTANTLY. MIXTURE WILL TURN CREAMY OFF WHITE COLOR. REMOVE FROM HEAT ANDD THREE REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND POUR INTO BAKING DISH. LET COOL, CUT INTO PIECES.
