Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups grits, cooked
- 1 cup lowfat cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. Saute onion and garlic in butter until soft. Remove from heat.
2. Beat milk and eggs until blended. Mix in salt, grits, cheese, and onions. Spread in sprayed shallow casserole.
3. Bake at 350 until lightly browned, but soft in center, about 1 hour.
Very good. Repeater.
