Zebra brownies

Ingredients

• FILLING
• 4 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese,
• softened 1/4 cup sugar
• V2 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg
• BROWNIES
• 21 V2-0Z. pkg. Pillsbury Family Size Deluxe Fudge Brownie Mix
• V3 cup very hot tap water V3 cup oil
• 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350°F. Generously grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. In small bowl, beat all filling ingredients until smooth; set aside. In large bowl, combine all brownie ingredients; beat 50 strokes with spoon. Spread half ot batter in prepared pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over batter, spreading to cover. Place spoonfuls of remaining batter on top of cream cheese. Marble by pulling knife through batter in wide curves; turn pan and repeat.
Bake at 350°F. for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool completely. Refrigerate at least 1 hour; cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
