Broccoli Beef

This is a Paleo recipe. You can substitute for the coconut oil (oil of your choice) and liquid amines (soy sauce).

Ingredients
- Sauce: 1/3 cup liquid aminos OR soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp arrowroot starch
- Broccoli: 2 tsp coconut oil OR oil of choice
- 4 cups Broccoli florets
- Beef: 1 Tbsp coconut oil OR oil of choice
- 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak or cube steak, cut into thin strips
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, mix and set aside.
2. Cook the broccoli: Heat the coconut oil over high heat in a wok or large skillet. Stir fry the broccoli 5 minutes. Remove from the wok.
3. Cook the meat: Heat the oil in the wok and stir fry the meat until almost done, about 4 minutes.
4. Add the broccoli and the sauce to the wok with the meat. Heat until boiling. Continue cooking until the sauce is thickened slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve as is or over item of your choice.
