Tomatillo Salsa

  • 6 cups tomatillos chopped
  • 3 cups onions chopped
  • 3 jalapeños chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon salt



Step 1

I chop all ingredients in my food processor.

Combine all ingredients in large pot over medium heat till mixture boils. Simmer 20 minutes. Ladle into pint jars, leaving half inch headspace. Seal with sterilized lids and rings. Place in hot water bath and process for 20 minutes.

* if you want it hotter, add more jalapenos and cumin, as cumin makes it hotter but gives it a good flavor.
