Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground chuck, browned, drained.
  • 5 cups water
  • large onion chopped
  • 4 ribs celery chopped
  • 3 carrots sliced
  • (2) - 14-1/2 oz. cans diced tomatoes
  • 10 oz. frozen mixed veg
  • 5 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients through pepper in cooker

Low 8-12 hrs. or High 4-6 hrs

One hr before serving turn to high. Make paste with butter and flour. Stir until smooth. Pour into cooker and blend. Add salt

Cook until thickened
