  • boil for 2 mins

  • beat 4 egg white

  • add 1/4 tbs cream of tartar

  • 1/2

Directions

Crust mix butter and sugar. add flour, vanilla and egg. press into a 9x13 pan. bake at 350 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Filling bring to a boil sugar, salt, starch and water. gradually add egg yolks, lemon juice, peel and marg. boil 2 minutes. pour over cooled crust Meran beat egg whites to stiff peaks. add cewam of tartar and sugar. spread to 1/2 inch of edge. bake 350 20-25 minutes. refrigerate for an hour
