Ingredients

• 1 large onion
• 5 cloves of garlic
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 lb Italian sausage
• 2 large cans Italian tomatoes with basil
• 1 large can tomato sauce
• S and P to taste
• if taste is a little acid add 1 -2 spoons sugar
• Fresh basil to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onions and garlic in olive oil in a lg pot

add ground beef and sausage, cook until brown

add tomatoes and tomato sauce
cook for 2 to 3 hours
add basil and taste add sugar if needed
