My family loves pecan pie, but for the
holidays I like to tweak this one a little. They'd love for everyday to be a holiday. They can't get enough of this one.

Ingredients
- 1 9-in. pie crust
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup stick butter, melted
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup pecan halves or broken pecans
- 2 tbsp. bourbon
- 6 oz. semisweet chocloate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
mix 2 tbsp. bourbon with corn syrup and set aside.
Beat sugar, margarine, corn syrup mixture, salt and eggs in medium bowl with wire whisk or hand beater until well blended. Stir in pecans and semisweet chocolate chips. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
Bake 40-50 minutes or until center is set.
