Ingredients
- Large bag greens
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 C chopped onion
- 26 oz can pureed tomatoes
- 2 % boullion
- 4 C water
- 2 cans red beans, drained
- 16 0z okra
- salt and pepper
- hot sauce
- Rice
Preparation
Step 1
Add greens, bell pepper, onion and tomatoes into a large Dutch oven. ix boullion and water. Add to pot and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. Add beans and okra, coo 5 more minutes. Season.
Meanwhile, cook rice.
Divide rice into bowls and serve gumbo on top.
