Applewood Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 cup Sweet Applewood BBQ Sauce
  • 8 slices cooked smoked applewood bacon
  • 4 - 1 oz slices Mont Jack cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat grill to med-high. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic and cayenne. Place chicken on grill. Grill 5 mins per side. Baste with BBQ sauce. Continue grilling until internal temp is 170F and juices run clear. Top with bacon and cheese. Grill 1 min more until cheese is melted.
