Ingredients
- Square:
- 1/4 c butter
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 c chopped nuts
- 18 lge marshmallows
- Topping:
- 2 Tblsp butter
- 2 Tblsp brown sugar
- 2 Tblsp milk
- icing sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Square:
1) Melt butter & while warm add sugar & blend well. Cool to lukewarm & add unbeaten egg. Beat well
2) Mix & sift flour, bp, & salt, add to first mixture
3) Add vanilla & nuts
4) Spread like fudge in greased 8x8 pan
5) Bake @ 350F until cooked
6) Cut mallows in half & place on top of cake
7) Return to oven, just until soft (don't brown)
8) When cool, spread with topping
Topping:
1) Mix first 3 ingred., cook few minutes on stove
2) Remove from heat, add icing sugar until desired spreading thickness
