Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies

Ingredients

• BROWNIE:
• 4 oz unsweetened chocolate finely chopped
• 1 C salted butter, melted
• 2 C brown sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 TSP vanilla
• 1 C flour
• 1/2 C mini chocolate chips
• COOKIE DOUGH:
• 3/4 C salted butter at room temp
• 3/4 C brown sugar
• 3/4 C white sugar
• 3 TBSP milk
• 1 1/2 TSP vanilla
• 1 1/2 C flour
• 1 1/2 C mini chocolate chips
• 1/2 C semi sweet chips + 1 TSP shortening for drizzle

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare the brownies:
Preheat oven to 325. Spray a 13X9 inch pan. Melt chocolate in microwave in short bursts and remove when smooth. Set aside to cool. In another bowl mix together butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. mix in the melted chocolate. Mix in the flour. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread batter into the pan. Bake 25-35 minutes. Let cool completely.

Prepare the cookie dough:
Mix together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Add in milk, vanilla and flour. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread cookie dough over the cooled brownies. Refrigerate well.

If desired melt together the 1/2 C semisweet chips and 1 TSP shortening and drizzle over tops of brownies. Add more chocolate chips if desired.
