Overnight Oven French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C butter, melted
  • 7 large eggs
  • 2 C milk
  • 1/3 C granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 French bread loaf, cut into 1" slices
  • Icing sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Pour melted butter into bottom of baking sheet to coat.

Beat next 7 ingredients together well.

Dip both sides of each bread slice into egg mixture. Lay in baking sheet. Pour any remaining mixture over slices. cover and refrigerate overnight. Can be frozen at this state.

Uncover and bake in 450F oven on bottom rack for 20 - 25 mintues. Place on rack to cool

Dust with icing usgar when warm
