Honey-Soy Broiled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 scallion
  • 2 T reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 T rice vinegar
  • 1 T honey
  • 1 t minced fresh ginger
  • 1 lb center cut salmon fillet
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 t toasted sesame seeds

Step 1

Whisk scallion, soy sauce, vinegar, honey & ginger in med bowl until honey is dissolved. Place salmon in sealable plastic bag, add 3 T of the sauce & refrigerate; let marinate for 15 min. Reserve the remaining sauce.

Preheat broiler. Line sm baking pan with foil & coat with cooking spray. Transfer salmon to pan, skinned side down. Discard the marinade. Broil salmon 4-6 in from heat source until cooked through, 6-10 min. Drizzle with reserved sauce & garnish with sesame seeds.
