    Tbl Olive Oil

    cups chopped Onions

  • ¾

    cup chopped Green Pepper

  • 2

    cloves Garlic chopped

  • 2

    lbs Ground Beef

  • 32

    oz Tomato Sauce

  • 6

    tsp Chili powder

  • 2

    tsp Cumin

  • 2

    tsp salt

  • Hot Sauce and/or Chili Peppers to taste (optional)

    cans Refried Beans

  • 2

    cups shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • 1

    bag Corn Chips


In a large pot over medium heat, saute onions and green pepper in olive oil for several minutes. Add garlic and saute for an extra minute. Remove green pepper, onions, and garlic from pot. Add ground beef to pot, break up into small pieces, and saute unti beef is browned. Remove excess grease from pot and discard. Return green pepper, onions, and garlic to pot. Add tomato sauce and spices to pot. Cook over medium heat for several minutes. Add refied beans to pot and cook for about an hour, stirring occasionally. Remove contents from pot and place into a slow cooker to keep warm. When ready to serve stir in cheese to mixture. Serve with corn chips.
