Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears, peeled, cored and sliced
- 4 baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 / cup flour
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 tea. grated orange zest
- 1 tea. cinnamon
- 1/4 tea. nutmeg
- 1 stock butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup oats
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine pears, apples, cranberries, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 Tbsp. flour, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss well. Turn into a 2 qt. shallow baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine remaining brown sugar and flour, butter, and oats. Mix with fingers until crumbly. Crumble over fruit.
Bake 45-50 minutes, or until fruit is tender and top is browned. Let cool on wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
