Apple Galette

Variation: Caramel Apple Galette: Replace the apricot jam with jarred dulce de leche.

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie dough 11" round
  • 3 baking apples, sliced, peeled and cored
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. apricot jam
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Toss apples with the brown sugar, apricot kjam and melted butter.

Lay the refrigerated dough on a baking sheet. Add the filling, leaving a 2" border; fold in the edges.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
