Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 med onion, diced
  • 2 med potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 C water (omit if potatoes already cooked)
  • 1- 17 oz can cream style corn
  • 2 C milk
  • 1 t salt
  • sash pepper
  • butter
  • dash parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon til crisp, crumble and set aside. using drippings cook onion til lightly browned. Add diced potato and water. Cook til potato is tender 10-15 min. Add corn, milk, salt and pepper. Cook til heated through. Add bacon. Top with parsley and pat of butter.
