HOT FUDGE SAUCE for PEANUT BUTTER PIE

Ingredients

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 (1-ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low: cook until chocolate melts and mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.

Add vanilla and butter, stirring until butter melts.

Remove from heat. Let cool to lukewarm.

Yield: 1 2/3 cups
