Ingredients

    unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell

  • 2

    large eggs

  • 1/2

    c. flour

  • 1/2

    c. sugar

  • 1/2

    c. brown sugar

  • 3/4

    c. butter, softened

  • 1

    c. chocolate chips

  • 1

    c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 325F. Beat eggs in large mixing bowl on high-speed until foamy. Beat in flour, sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts, if desired. Spoon into pie shell. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between the edge and the center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
