Ingredients
- 1 package white cake mix
- 1 pkg (4 serving size) jello brand strawberry flavor gelatin
- 2/3 cups sour cream
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 8z tub of cool whip
- Sliced strawberries
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2 round cake pan. Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Pour half the batter into medium bowl, add gelatin mix. Stir until well blended.
Spoon half of the white batter and half of the pink side by side into prepared pan. Swirl batter together lightly using a teaspoon. Bake 30 minutes and let cool completely. Remove to wire wracks and cool completely.
Mix sour cream and powdered sugar in a medium bowl until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping.
Place one cake on serving plate. Spread top with half of whipped topping mixture. Top with strawberries.
Place second cake on top and use remaining spread. Top with strawberries. Store leftover cake in refrigerator.
