Ingredients
- 1 package of vanilla instant pudding mix (2.5 ounces)
- 1 package of chocolate instant pudding mix (2.5 ounces)
- 3 1/2 cups milk (low fat is fine)
- 1 cup of brewed coffee, chilled; (coffee made by drip or French Press method makes the best flavor for this recipe)
- Fresh whipped cream and chocolate curls, as desired, for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Refrigerate 2 large parfait glasses or 4 small glass bowls.
Prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package directions using 2 cups of cold milk; whisk for two minutes.
In a separate bowl, prepare the chocolate pudding using 1 1/2 cups of milk and 1/2 cup chilled coffee. Whisk for two minutes.
In a third bowl put in 4 tablespoons of the vanilla pudding and 4 tablespoons of the chocolate coffee pudding. Add 2 more tablespoons of the chilled coffee. Whisk until it becomes almost a tan color.
Layer the puddings in the chilled parfait glasses starting with vanilla, then add the chocolate then top with tan mixture.
Chill for at least two hours.
