Pumpkin Pie Cake

  • 1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 (18 1/2 oz) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine pumpkin, eggs, milk, sugar and pie spice, blending well.

Pour batter into ungreased 9x13 baking pan.

Sprinkle cake mix evenly on batter. Drizzle butter over cake mix and sprinkle with pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.

Place pan on wire rack to cool. Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream.
