Ingredients
- 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
- 3 T powdered buttermilk
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 C bread flour or unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 T unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3 T pure maple syrup
- 1 C room-temperature water
Preparation
Step 1
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Place ingredients in bread machine in order given. Select white bread option.
Look into machine and check dough after a few minutes of kneading. If it does not form a smooth firm ball add a few more T water. If too sticky sprinkle in more flour.
Can also select 'dough' and form into buns , let rise until double, then bake in 425 oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
