Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut
  • 7 cups regular oatmeal
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cups sesame seed (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rye flour (may use all whole wheat)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together coconut, oatmeal, wheat germ, & sesame seeds. Set aside.

Heat in a saucepan water, honey, brown sugar, & vanilla, melting brown sugar.

Place in flat pan. Bake at 250* for 1 hours. Stir occasionally.
