HOLLY-DAY COOKIES

Carol Palinkas's (Millie's youngest sister) recipe. Delicious but will make your tongue and teeth green. Teaberries may be bought at Zimmerman's in Penbrook.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 30 marshmallows (regular size)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. green food coloring
  • 4 cups cornflakes (cereal)
  • teaberry candies

Preparation

Step 1

Over low heat, melt: butter and marshmallows
Add to above: vanilla, green food coloring
Stir well. Stir in cornflakes.
Drop in bumpy lumps on waxed paper.
Put 3 red teaberries on top
Do not store in sealed container.
