ONION BLUE CHEESE SAUCE {pioneer woman}

  • 1/2 stick softened butter
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 dash salt and pepper
  • 3-4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in a large skillet over med-high heat, sauté onions until golden brown, 7-8 minutes. Pour in cream, a dash of salt and pepper and Worcestershire. Let it bubble up, then add blue cheese and stir together to melt, adding more pepper or Worcestershire as you wish.
