Ingredients
- 1 lb green, wax, or romano beans
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small red onion, fine chop
- 4 garlic cloves, thin slice
- 1/2 tablespoon chile flakes
- 2 tablespoons anchovy paste
- salt/pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
In a 12-14" saute pan, heat oil until almost smoking. Add onion, garlic, chile and anchovy paste and stir until translucent and brown on edges (5 mins). Add beans and cook over medium heat until tender and deep brown, about 15 mins. Season and serve.
