Mushroom Caps

Ingredients

  • 1 package of italian sausages
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 package of Black Diamond "Funcheeze"
  • 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 22 portabello mushrooms

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Remove stems and scoop out the insides of mushrooms and set aside.

Saute sausage, onion, garlic and mushrooms stems together until cooked through. Remove from heat, add cheese, egg and bread crumbs. Cool completely and put it in a food processor and combine.

Take the mushroom caps and dunk into a bowl with melted butter. Place caps on a cookie sheet and fill with the mushroom mixture. Pour the remaining butter on each of the caps. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
