Farmers' Market Corn Bread
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup stone ground corn meal
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg beaten
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch baking pan.
2. Combine dry ingredients, stir in milk, egg, and oil, working until just moist.
3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cake tester comes out clean.
