Ingredients

    cup stone ground corn meal

    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    cup milk

    cup vegetable oil

    egg beaten

Directions

1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch baking pan. 2. Combine dry ingredients, stir in milk, egg, and oil, working until just moist. 3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cake tester comes out clean.
