Ingredients
- 12 lemons or mixture of lemons & limes, peel only, no pitch
- 3 sprigs lavender, optional but very good
- 2 liters light rum or vokda
- 6 c sugar
- 3 c water

Preparation
Step 1
Put lemon and/or lime peels, lavender & rum or vodka in container & let stand for 4 weeks. Strain mixture into a decanter. Mix sugar & water in med pan & bring to boil. Reduce heat & simmer until sugar has dissolved. Let cool before adding to rum/vodka mixture.
Serve in sm aperitif glasses. Store in freezer up to 1 yr.
