Chocolate Cookies with Marshmallow top

Ingredients

• Cream together:
• 1/4 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• Add: 1 egg
• Sift together and add alternately with 1/2 cup milk:
• 1 3/4 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup cocoa
• Add: 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Bake at 350° for 8 minutes. Remove and add ½ of a marshmallow on top. Bake until melted. Frost when cool with chocolate frosting.
