Serve this at your next party and you are guaranteed to be a hit. This recipe is courtesy of my brother in law Smokee Joe Barkoski who is the campside cook for Lary Czonka Outdoors and North to Alaska. Check out the show if you like good outdoor adventure.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups smoked fish
  • 4 Stalks scallions (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 tbs. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbs. Tarragon
  • 1/2 tbs. Basil
  • 1 tbs. Black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt

Step 1



Mix all dry ingredients and fish together in a large mixing bowl. Add the scallions and onions and mix well. Add mayonnaise cream cheese and lemon juice until well blended with mixture. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Serve with crackers.
