Ingredients
- 6 TBS butter softened
- 1 C powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 squares 1 oz each unsweetened chocolate, melfted and cooled
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Filling
- 1/3 C cream cheese softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 C flaked coconut
- 1/2 C finely chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
In small bowl cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg chocolate and canilla. Combine flour and baking soda gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Refreg for 1 hr. In another bowl combine cream cheese and vanilla. Stir in coconut and nuts until blended. Regrig for 1 hr. Shape dought into a 8 1/2 x 6 inch rectangle. Shape filling into a 8 1/2 inch log place on dought. Wrap dought around filling sealing the seam. Wrap in plastic wrap and regrig for 2-3 hr or until firm. Cut into 1/3 inch slices. Place 2 inches apart on parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 mins or until set. Remove to wire racks.
