Ingredients
- 2 qts. Popped popcorn (old maids removed)
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
- 2/3 c. almonds (or use small can mixed nuts instead)
- 1 1/3 c. white sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, butter, & syrup in a saucepan & bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture becomes a carmel color or 260º on a candy thermomenter. Stir in vanilla & pour over popped popcorn immediately. Put in greased pan, cool, & serve.
