Ingredients
- *Pierce raw eggs with needle prior to boiling to prevent cracks.
- *Put raw whole eggs in pot with a tightly fitting cover (doesn’t matter how many eggs).
- *Cover eggs with cool or lukewarm tap water, covering eggs by at least an inch.
- *Bring to rolling boil over high heat.
- *Immediately when eggs reach full, rolling boil, remove pot from heat.
- *Cover immediately & allow eggs to continue to cook in hot water for 18 min.
Preparation
Step 1
*Remove cover & carefully drain.
*Refill pot with VERY cold tap water.
*Let the eggs just sit in the very cold water for minute or two.
*Refill pot again with coldest (icy) water you’ve got.
*To peel, tap both ends on hard surface breaking shell on both ends.
*Laying egg on side on hard surface, simply & quickly roll it gently but firmly.
*Then it’s ready for easy peeling.
