Caramel Puff Corn

Ingredients

  • 2 bags Old Dutch Puff Corn
  • 3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. butter
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, vanilla, & salt in saucepan. Boil for 5 min., stirring often. Remove from heat & stir in baking soda. Pour over puff corn in a lg. roaster, & stir well. Bake at 250° for 1 hr., stirring every 15 min. Cook on a cookie sheet or tin foil.
