SCOLLOPED POTATOES

  • 3 TABLESPOONS MARGARINE
  • 2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR
  • 3 CUPS MILK
  • 6 MEDIUM POTATOES PEELED AND BOILED
  • 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS

Preparation

Step 1

1. MELT MARGARINE IN SAUCEPAN

2. ADD FLOUR STIR AND LET BUBBLE 2 MINUTES

3. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND SLOWLY ADD MILK WHILE STIRRING

4. RETURN TO HEAT STIR AND LET THICKEN

5. SLICE POTATOES AND ONION

6. PUT LAYER OF ONIONS AND POTATOES IN CASSEROLE

7. COVER WITH 1/2 OF WHITE SAUCE.

8. REPEAT LAYERS
COVER AND BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 1 HOUR

9. UNCOVER AND BAKE UNTIL TOP IS GOLDEN BROWN
