Pineapple torte

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound vanilla wafers
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cube butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Butter a square pan (8 by 8 inch). Roll vanilla wafers fine. Put half in pan. Cream butter; add powdered sugar and cream well. Add beaten eggs, pour over crushed wafers. Sprinkle well- drained pineapple over this mixture. Whip cream and add nuts. Pour over pineapple. Cover with rest of crushed wafers. Refrigerate at least 24 hours.
