Ingredients
- 8 granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tblsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Toss apples with the sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch until well coated. Place in a 9x12 baking dish.
Put the flour, brown sugar, and butter in a food processor, and pulse until crumbly. Add the nuts and pulse, to coarsely chop them. Place the topping onto the apples and bake for 40 munutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
