Caramel Brickle Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. butterscotch chips
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 T. water
  • 1 -14 oz. can mixed nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, brown sugar, butter, & salt like a pie crust. Pat into greased 9X13 pan. Bake at 350° for 10 min. Cool. Cook in saucepan: chips, butter, syrup & water.
Stir over medium heat until smooth. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle can of nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 10-15 min. until bubbles appear. Cut while warm.
